GARLIC MASHED POTATOS
Serves 4 as a side.

3 lb 	russet (starchy) potatos
2 lb	white (waxy) potatos
16 oz 	sour cream
4 tbs	butter

	-or-

2 lb	russet potatos
2 lb	rutabaga
1 lb	daikon radish
8 tbs	butter

	-or-

3 lb	russet potatos
2 lb	rutabaga
16 oz 	sour cream
4 tbs	butter

	-and-

1 tbs	garlic powder OR 1 tbsp minced/pressed garlic OR 1 head roasted garlic
salt	to taste (a lot)

Partially peel and cube root veggies. Place in pot, cover with water
and bring to a boil. Cook until soft and drain. Add sour cream/butter,
garlic and mash. Salt to taste.

Sour cream and butter can be replaced by 8 oz half/half or 8 oz whole milk or
8 oz chicken or vegetable broth.
