SWEDISH BROWNIES
Makes about 16 bars.

4	large eggs
2 c	sugar 
2 c	all-purpose flour 
1 tsp	baking powder 
1/4 tsp salt 
1 c	butter, melted (2 sticks)
2 tsp	almond extract 
1/2 c	sliced almonds 

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

With an electric mixer, cream together eggs and sugar. Add flour,
baking powder, salt, melted butter and almond extract, beating until
just mixed. Spread into baking pan and sprinkle with the almonds.

Bake for 30 minutes or until tested done and lightly browned.  Cool
and cut into bars.
